Are your soaps and shampoo bars suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
All of our soaps and shampoo bars are suitable for vegans.
Are your soaps suitable for all skin types?
Our soap is made with plant-derived oils and Shea butter. It is gentle and moisturising. None of our soaps contain synthetic colours or fragrances.
Do your products contain allergens?
Yes, our soaps do contain certain ingredients that may cause allergic reactions in some people. All ingredients are listed on the product pages and allergens are clearly displayed.
Are your products organic?
Wild and Myrtle has not been certified as organic. However, we use high-quality, plant-based oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals.
Do your products contain palm oil?
Absolutely not. Wild and Myrtle is deeply commited to protecting the natural world.
Are your products tested on animals?
No. We are completely against animal cruelty in any form and since March 2013, a new European Union law was fully implemented that has made the trade of animal-tested cosmetics in Europe illegal, even if the testing was done outside Europe
Are your products safe for pregnancy/breastfeeding?
No. We do not recommend products containing essential oils for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers,
Are your products suitable for babies and small children?
No. Our products should not be used for babies and children under the age of 7. Unscented products are recommended for small children to avoid sensitisation.
Do you use plastic packaging?
No, we are deeply commited to reducing plastic waste. Our packaging is therefore natural and recyclable wherever possible.
What is the shelf life of your products ?
Our products are freshly made in small batches and we want to ensure that your orders are enjoyed at their best. We recommend that our soap is used within 6 months of purchase. Whilst our soaps contain natural preservatives and so should not "go off", after being out of their packaging for longer than 6 months there is a chance that the fragrance will begin to fade. Please note that our shelf life recommendation is based on an assumption that the soap is stored correctly in an appropriate place and is not exposed to extreme conditions.
Do you sell your products wholesale?
Yes we do. If you are a business and are interested in purchasing our soaps and shampoo bars in wholesale quantities, please get in touch. There are currently no minimum order quantities for wholesale orders
Do you deliver internationally?
We are happy to ship to the UK and the Channel Islands.
