Hello and a warm welcome to Wild & Myrtle.
Nestled within the Vale of Belvoir, rural Leicestershire, Wild & Myrtle is inspired by a deep-rooted connection to nature, creative practice, and sustainable living.
My journey began with a passion for the natural world, for plant-based wellness and traditional craftsmanship. Through soap-making courses and experimentation, I discovered the beauty of the cold process soapmaking method, harnessing the natural hues of clays and botanicals and infusing each bar with steam-distilled essential oils.
From this creative spark grew Wild & Myrtle: a celebration of simplicity, authenticity, and the luxury of natural skincare. Over time—and especially during the quiet of lockdown—this much-loved hobby grew into small artisan business, shaped by an ethos of sustainability and an ambition to share my craft more widely while staying true to my values of care, community, and connection.
Every Wild & Myrtle natural soap bar, balm, shampoo, and conditioner bar is handcrafted in small batches of just 10–20 items, ensuring maximum freshness, consistency, and attention to detail. After crafting, each soap bar rests and cures for four weeks—resulting in a mild, long-lasting bar that offers a rich, luxurious lather. Though this limits availability, each release is completely unique and becomes a thoughtful moment and an alternative to mass production. Only high-quality nutrient-rich plant oils, butters, botanicals and clays go into my work—mostly vegan, free from synthetic fragrances, preservatives, parabens, sulphates, or palm oil.
I personally pack each item in planet-friendly, carefully-designed and often repurposed materials. My gift boxes feature elegant black and kraft boxes, often packed with dried flowers and natural wood wool.
I produce each item simply for the love of the creative process. My aim is to share the joy of slow, considered craftsmanship, and my hope is that you will enjoy my products as much as I love making them!
